Over ten years ago, as Asia experienced its worst recession since WWII, a young enterprising woman running one of the most mature travel companies in Malaysia, was tasked with reviving the business for the new millennium.

In the face of severe price competition and discounting, she set the company against this trend, went against everything the company was known for over 30 years and introduced quality private touring at premium prices. She was hailed bold at best and crazy at worst but the business turned around almost immediately and unbeknownst to her critics, enjoyed its best performance in years.

As private touring became the norm, the company ventured further into premium travel and joined the world of high-end travel with Luxury Escapes. In addition to the best hotels and restaurants, they designed bespoke travel experiences that present the finest options each destination offers. Unique and unforgettable experiences were inadvertently often expected. This proved to be a welcomed challenge and a wonderful learning process.

It is here that they discovered some of the world's most extraordinary experiences and learnt that they do not always offer the distinctive intricacies of luxury. In fact, they rarely do.

From then on, Journey Of Discoveries was born.
